Uter Clump

uter{0-4} are I/O nodes used for Structured Streaming Data System development and other storage-related research.

Each of uter{1-4} mounts /usr/local from uter0. uter0:/usr/local contains installs of (at least):

• LWFS
• the Georgia Tech CERCS software stack
• the IOR application
• the reference implementation of Sandia Portals

• home directories via NFS from apu
• clock synchronization via NTP from apu
• user accounts via departmental LDAP

• 1U Xeon64-3060, 2.4Ghz 1066MHz FSB (Dual Core)
• 8GB Memory
• 4x SATA 500GB Hard drives
• Dual onboard gigabit NICs
• Single Port Infiniband cards.
