SAGE (SAIC's Adaptive Grid Eularian hydrocode) is a multidimentional (1D,2D,3D), mutimaterial, Eulerian hydrodynamics code with adpaptive mesh refinment (AMR). The code uses second order numerical techniques. SAGE comes from the Los Alamos National Laboratory Crestone project, whose goal is the investigation of continues adaptive techniqies to stockpile stewardship problems. SAGE has been applied to maeny areas in science and engineering including water shock, energy coupling, cratering and ground shock, stemming and containment, early time front end design, explosively generated ait blastm and hydrodynamic instability problems.
